Since I first got Plot 86a back in Feb 2006 its come a long way. From looking like this...
Covered in head height brambles and other nasties lurking underneath. To now looking like this...Its not quite all done though. There's a couple of areas left to de-weed and I still battle with the couch, marestail, docks and dandelions but it's got such a different feel to it now. Just got to manage the same feat with Plot 85.

Fantastic results! Isn't it great when you have finished the back breaking work to just stand back and see what you've done!
Wow what a difference in the plot since you took it over! You should be very proud of your achievements!
The MJC water contraption looks ingenious and generated much amusement. Lets hope it generates more water.
The willow horse is as impressive as you stated. I am sure the willow logs will provide a screen in no time judging by their rapid growth in our garden.
Bob rotavated and composted a bed for our beetroot and carrot seedlings yesterday. One of the tomato plants you brought on Sunday has grown by a third in the last few days. Thought it was a small variety!!!!
Chris
Many thanks to both of you for the kind words.
Chris - sadly Matt's water collecting invention didn't stand up to the gale force winds (light breeze?!?) on Tuesday and so has been dismantled :( so we'll never find out how good it good have been...
I'm sure I gave you a small tomato plant...hmm!
